Position Title: Team Member
Job Duties: As the Team Member, this person will receive instruction and information from operational and administrative managers and staff as well as the Team Lead. Team Members will be engaging in the regular manual labour required on the farm and are expected to function as part of a Team to complete all manual labour tasks for all the nursery’s product lines. This includes harvesting, sorting, packing, weeding, irrigating, planting, transplanting, root pruning, pruning, potting, seeding and other tasks related to the various product lines, as required. These manual labour requirements occur in open fields, greenhouses and hoop houses. The Team Member will need to perform these tasks in all weather and temperatures. The business is a production nursery and therefore the Team Member is expected to complete these tasks efficiently and with attention to detail to ensure the quality of the trees, shrubs & perennials as well as cost effective production.
Terms of Employment: Approximately 4 months, approximately 40 hours per week however actual hours per week will vary based on business needs and weather. The position is a Full-time Seasonal Fixed Term contract starting approximately April 5, 2027 and going to approximately July 29, 2027.
Wages: $17.95/hour
