Floor Installer – Full-Time

Norm’s Wood Flooring is a local floor installation and restoration business with over 35 years of experience serving the area. We are looking for a reliable, motivated Floor Installer to join our team and help us continue providing quality service to our customers.

Requirements

• Experience in floor installation is preferred; basic labourer experience with a willingness to learn will be considered
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend and lift for extended periods, including lifting 50+ lbs
• WHMIS required; First Aid considered an asset
• Safety shoes and hard hat required
• Valid driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract preferred
• Must be able to independently travel to job sites when required
• May be required to pick up and deliver flooring from locations in Ottawa
• Knowledge and safe operation of power tools considered an asset

Additional Details

• Majority of work is located in the Ottawa area
• Transportation to job sites is typically provided in a company vehicle
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Wage based on experience
• Training available for the right candidate
