This job is perfect for someone who enjoys the outdoors and can work well independently while also connecting with the team as needed.
What you bring:
- A willingness and ability to work outside every day in various weather conditions
- Experience in farming, landscaping, garden centres, athletics or similar
- Equipment/mechanical or construction skills considered an asset
- Horticulture training considered an asset
- 4-24 hours/week on Wed-Thurs-Friday until the end of October
What you will do:
Weeding, digging perennials, cutting down plants, spreading mulch, lifting bags of soil, sweeping, raking, etc. Work will be outside and occasionally in the greenhouse.
What we offer:
- Free cutflowers
- Free perennials and sometimes shrubs
- Some flexibility with hours
- Wage range $22.00-24.50/hr
- Potential for full time or continuing part time work in 2027, usually beginning in March
