Material Handler/Yard Maintenance (Summer Student)

Main Roles and Responsibilities of Position:

• Reworking mods that are on hold from QA or damaged in the yard
• Cleaning up scrap wood, straps, and plastic
• Organizing the scrap wood and cardboard for removal
• Maintaining a safe and organized pipe storage yard.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Important Individual Tasks:

• Ensure mods are being done according to spec
• Must handle all materials conscientiously.
• Observe and follow all safety rules and regulations.

Education and/or Experience Required:

• Any safety training would be an asset, like Fall Arrest Training, Chainsaw Training etc.

Personal Characteristics:

• Must be flexible and easy to get along with.
• Be an adaptable team player.
• Independence, ability to work without close Supervision.
• Be able to maintain composure and perform well under time pressure.
• Must be able to communicate clearly.

Details: 

• 40 hours a week until the end of August
• Starting wage of $18.16
