Fix Auto Brockville is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Full-Time Automotive Collision Repair Estimator to join our growing team.

As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while coordinating vehicle repairs from start to finish. You'll communicate with customers, insurance companies, technicians, and suppliers, prepare repair estimates, manage scheduling, and help keep repairs moving efficiently.

While experience in the automotive, collision repair, or insurance industry is certainly an asset, it is not required. We are committed to training the right candidate who brings the right attitude, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.

We're looking for someone who is organized, adaptable, and enjoys balancing a variety of responsibilities throughout the day. While experience in the collision repair or insurance industry is certainly an asset, it is not required—we are happy to train the right person.

The ideal candidate is comfortable learning new computer programs and technology, as this role involves working within multiple software systems that integrate with one another. They have experience interpreting and following established procedures, contracts, policies, or detailed guidelines, and understand the importance of accuracy and compliance when working within strict insurance requirements.

Most importantly, they're someone who enjoys helping customers, communicates confidently over the phone and in person, stays calm under pressure, and can effectively juggle customer service, administrative tasks, scheduling, and ongoing communication with insurance companies while keeping repairs moving smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service throughout the repair process.
  • Prepare and review collision repair estimates using industry management software and insurance guidelines
  • Communicate with customers, insurance companies, technicians, and vendors regarding repair progress.
  • Coordinate vehicle drop-offs, repair scheduling, and delivery appointments.
  • Order and track parts required for repairs.
  • Maintain accurate customer, vehicle, estimate, and parts information within multiple management systems.
  • Assist with insurance supplements and documentation required for repair approvals.
  • Monitor repair progress and provide proactive updates to customers and insurers.
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and other administrative documentation.
  • Support front office operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining records.
  • Work collaboratively with technicians, production staff, and management to ensure repairs are completed efficiently while providing an outstanding customer experience.

We're more interested in finding the right person than the perfect résumé. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Confidence speaking with customers, insurance representatives, and suppliers by phone and email.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software systems.
  • Experience working with detailed procedures, policies, contracts, or compliance guidelines.
  • A positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in customer service, office administration, insurance, automotive, construction, legal, banking, healthcare administration, logistics, or project coordination is considered an asset.
  • A valid driver's licence is preferred.
