LINE AND PREP COOK

Salamanders of Kemptville is looking for a full-time Line and Prep Cook for their busy kitchen. Candidates should be able to work in a very busy and sometimes hectic environment. Experience working as a Cook is a strong asset. However, training is provided in the “from scratch” cooking that takes place at Salamanders; so, please don’t hesitate to apply if you feel you have a talent that you want to develop.  

Duties will include:

• Food preparation and cooking
• Preparing a variety of dishes
• Plating dishes to go to guests
• Preparing take out orders
• Maintaining a clean, safe and sanitary working area

Requirements:

• Food Handler's 
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift heavy items, e.g., boxes of produce
• Available for a flexible work schedule (including weekends and evenings)
