Asphalt Equipment Operator/Worker

Tackaberry Construction is a local, family run business, serving eastern Ontario since 1957, offering competitive wages with group benefits. We are currently seeking an Asphalt Equipment Operator/Labourer for various jobsites in the Leeds and Grenville/Lanark area.

This is a seasonal position, and hours will vary according to business demand and weather conditions.

Pay: Wage Range $26.00 - $32.00/hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of rollers differing in size safely and effectively
• Assist in manual labour tasks as required
• Be aware of surroundings and traffic
• Communicate well with other staff
• Work in an outdoor environment during varying weather conditions

Requirements:

• Strong worth ethic
• Working hours may require some weekend and evening shifts
• Experience is considered an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidates
