Temporary Full-Time Dental Hygienist (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Dentistry @ Prescott is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Dental Hygienist to join our team on a full-time temporary basis to cover a maternity leave. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-focused environment with a collaborative team.

Compensation:
Starting rate of pay is $45 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including scaling, root planing, polishing, and fluoride treatments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols
• Work collaboratively with dentists and team members to deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications:

• Registered Dental Hygiene Diploma
• Current NDHCB (National Dental Hygiene Certification Board) certificate (please include certificate number with application)
• Licensed to practice dental hygiene in Ontario
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
