Loughlin’s Country Store is a locally owned and operated country store located in Hallville, Ontario. We take pride in serving our community by offering friendly service in a welcoming, down‑to‑earth environment. Our store is a lively place where teamwork, positivity, and great customer experiences matter every day. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to be part of a fun, hardworking team.
We are looking to add a cashier/float to our team!
If you have excellent customer service skills, enjoy working with people and are available to work evenings and weekends (our busiest times), we’d love to hear from you.
What we’re looking for:
· A positive, energetic personality who enjoys interacting with customers
· Willingness to jump in and help wherever needed
· Comfortable keeping our storefront clean, bright, welcoming and cheerful
· Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
· Handle alcohol, tobacco and lottery sales
Key responsibilities
· Use a computerized cash register to serve customers
· Take orders, accept payment
· Answer customer questions about products
· Serve customers at counter in a friendly and efficient
· Assist with general store upkeep and cleaning
Qualifications:
· Smart Serve certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain)
· Must meet legal requirements to sell alcohol, tobacco and lottery products
