Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader
RD Everterra Garden & Lawn Care is a growing lawn maintenance company seeking a skilled and dependable Crew Leader to join our commercial and residential lawn maintenance team. If you’re reliable, skilled with equipment, and ready to lead a crew with confidence, we want to hear from you!
As the Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader, you will be responsible for training and supervising a crew, coordinating daily routes, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will be the main point of contact on-site and will play a key role in delivering an exceptional experience to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train and supervise a lawn maintenance crew on daily routes
- Perform and oversee mowing, trimming, edging, and general grounds care
- Ensure all services—including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and general grounds maintenance—are completed to company standards
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment including:
- Push mowers
- Ride‑on mowers
- Zero‑turn mowers
- Stand‑on mowers
- Perform routine equipment checks and minor repairs when needed
- Maintain accurate reports of completed work and communicate progress to management
- Uphold safety practices and ensure crew compliance with company policies
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract (mandatory)
- Proven experience in lawn maintenance or landscaping (commercial experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of mower operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Ability to lead and motivate a crew effectively
- Strong time‑management and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Physically capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Knowledge of safe equipment handling and jobsite safety standards
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience $25-27 to start
- Supportive team environment
- Full‑time seasonal work 40-50 hours /week 7 am start April – November
