Lawn Maintenance Crew Members (Trimming & General Labour Focus)

RD Everterra Garden & Lawn Care is looking for reliable, hardworking Lawn Maintenance Crew Members to join our team for the upcoming season. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical outdoor work and excels at the hands‑on tasks that keep properties looking clean, sharp, and professionally maintained.

As a Crew Member, your primary responsibilities will include string trimming, blowing, edging, mulching, debris clean‑up, and assisting the crew leader with day‑to‑day grounds maintenance. This is a physically active position focused on detail work making it perfect for those who take pride in precision and hustle.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform string trimming around buildings, fences, gardens, trees, and hard-to-reach areas
• Operate backpack or handheld blowers to clear sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots
• Operate some lawn mowing machinery as needed
• Assist with edging, weeding, mulching and general grounds cleanup
• Load and unload tools and equipment at each job site
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the property
• Follow directions from the crew leader and work effectively as part of a team
• Support other labour tasks such as collecting debris, raking, and managing green waste

Requirements

• Able to work outdoors in heat, rain, and variable weather
• Comfortable with repetitive physical tasks and long periods of walking/standing
• Able to lift 40–50 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and hard‑working
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Experience with trimmers or blowers is an asset but not required - training provided

Preferred (But Not Mandatory)

• Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience
• Valid driver’s license
• WHMIS or safety training
• Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality

What We Offer

• Competitive hourly wage based on experience $23-$24/ hour
• Full‑time seasonal work 40-50 hours /week 7 am start April -November
• Supportive team environment with clear direction and structure
• Uniform:  t-shirt and hoodies, gloves, ear plugs provided
