Executive Director: Lead with Purpose & Impact

Senior Support Services - LLG (SSS-LLG) is seeking a visionary leader to serve as our Executive Director. In this pivotal role, you will champion a five-year strategic plan to ensure our mission and organizational objectives are met with excellence.

The Mission
You will be the driving force behind high-impact service delivery, optimizing finances and resources to best serve our clients. You will lead, inspire, and engage a dedicated team of staff and volunteers within a results-driven culture founded on equity and respect.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop yearly operational plans and identify future opportunities for growth.
  • Operational Integrity: Oversee risk management, clinical regulatory compliance, and strong financial administration.
  • Community Advocacy: Build and sustain vital networks and alliances with community partners, funders, and government agencies.
  • Team Mentorship: Maintain a performance management process focused on mentoring, motivation, and professional ethics.

Mandatory Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must demonstrate the following:

  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience within the community support, healthcare, or government-funded not-for-profit sectors.
  • Education: University degree or advanced education in a field related to the work and operations of SSS-LLG (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Social Services, or Business).
  • Labour Relations: Direct experience leading and working effectively within a unionized environment.
  • Sector Knowledge: Deep understanding of the issues, challenges, and opportunities facing seniors in Ontario.
  • Technical & Legal Readiness: Advanced skills in online environments and a valid Class G driver’s license.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $103,818.00 – $116,824.00 annually, (Commensurate with experience and qualifications)
