Seasonal Pruners - 3-4 weeks

Job Summary:

Mountain Orchards is looking for a crew of 3 people to help with early pruning in the apple orchard.

Start:  March 23rd -weather dependant

Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8 am start, depending on weather

Job Type: 3-4 weeks beginning mid-March. There is potential to continue in other roles at the orchard during the busy summer and fall season. 

Compensation: $21.65

Responsibilities:

· Pruning apple trees

· Lifting ladders and working on ladders (approx. 6 ft)

· Learning about pruning techniques

Qualifications:

• Pruning experience preferred but will train
• Standing for an extended period of time
• Comfortable working on orchard ladders
•  Ability to bend, lift, stretch, and reach
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions 

A short personal interview will be required before being hired
