Early Childhood Educator

Positions available:

1) Supply educators - RECE, CYW, or have child care experience.

2) RECE or CYW for our English Before and After School program. This is a split shift schedule (8 hour day). Permanent position.

3) RECE or Assistant Educator for a 10 month contract position in our Infant classroom from March 2 - December 18, 2026 (8 hour day).

4) Summer Educators - RECE, CYW, or have child care experience. Summer contract positions. Part-time and Full-time hours available (5 hour day and 8 hour day). English and French/Bilingual positions available.

5) RECE or Assistant Educator for an 18 month contract position in our French Toddler Classroom – immediate start (8 hour day).

Job description:
Come join our team of dedicated educators at NGLC, where we love learning outdoors and are passionate about supporting each child’s growth, curiosity, and development.

The educator is responsible for the supervision and management of the classroom in accordance with the philosophy of North Grenville Learning Centre. The principal duties include ensuring the safety and physical well-being of the children, planning and implementing curriculum, maintaining regular communication with parents, and contributing to the overall operation of the program.

-Past experience in a child care setting or related experience is preferred.
-Working knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA).
-Working knowledge of “How Does Learning Happen?”.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: CA$20.00-CA$28.00 per hour (20.00 Non-ECE, 28.00 RECE)
