310T Mechanic or Apprentice

Ken Miller Excavating is currently seeking a Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician or experienced apprentice to join our team.

We operate a busy civil construction company with a fleet of heavy trucks and equipment. We are looking for a dependable, experienced mechanic with strong knowledge of heavy equipment and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair heavy trucks and construction equipment

• Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections

• Repair and maintain hydraulic pumps, cylinders, hoses, and valves

• Complete CVIP inspections (if licensed)

• Respond to occasional field service calls

Qualifications:

• Valid 310T License OR registered apprentice with strong hands-on experience

• Experience working on heavy equipment and hydraulics (required)

• Strong troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently

• Valid driver’s license (DZ or AZ an asset)

• Own tools
