Role Overview
We are looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual to join our hive! This hybrid role is the backbone of our operations, splitting time between honey bottling production, e-commerce packaging and fulfillment, and retail customer service. You will ensure our honey is bottled to perfection, packed safely for transit, and sold with a smile.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Bottling
- Bottling & Labeling: Operate bottling equipment to fill jars accurately and apply labels with high precision.
- Quality Control: Inspect every jar for cleanliness and ensure seals are airtight and tamper-evident.
- Sanitation: Maintain a squeaky-clean production environment, following all food safety and hygiene protocols.
Packaging & Fulfillment
- Order Picking: Accurately pull items for online and wholesale orders, ensuring the correct varieties and sizes are selected.
- Secure Packing: Master the art of packaging fragile glass jars securely to prevent breakage during transit.
- Shipping Logistics: Use shipping software to generate labels and organize outgoing parcels for courier pickup.
- Presentation: Ensure every package looks professional and "gift-ready" to provide a superior unboxing experience.
Retail & Customer Service
- Customer Engagement: Greet visitors, offer honey tastings, and share knowledge about the BeeGood mission and our unique honey varieties.
- Sales & POS: Process transactions accurately using our tablet-based point-of-sale system.
- Store Merchandising: Keep retail shelves stocked, organized, and inviting for customers.
Qualifications & Skills
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and safely lift up to 40 lbs.
- Precision & Detail: High attention to detail, essential for accurate labeling and double-checking order fulfillment.
- Efficiency: Ability to maintain a steady pace during high-volume production runs or busy shipping periods.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using tablets, POS systems, and basic shipping software.
- Friendly Demeanor: A warm, helpful attitude toward customers and teammates.
