Pay: $22.00–$30.00 per hour, with room for advancement once exterminator licensing is complete.
Job Description
We are a vegetation management company providing professional services to a wide range of clientele. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Spray Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn, grow, and build a career in industrial vegetation management. While having a technician or pesticide applicator license is an asset, we are willing to train the right candidate and support them through extermination licensing.
Responsibilities
- Apply herbicides and vegetation control products using backpack, hand-held, and RTV and truck-mounted spray equipment
- Follow all product labels, application rates, safety procedures, and environmental guidelines
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Accurately complete spray logs, application records, and required documentation
- Identify target vegetation and site conditions and report concerns to supervisors
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Comply with all company policies and provincial regulations
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Clean criminal record required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Physically capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Desire to learn and grow within the field of industrial vegetation management
- Willingness to obtain extermination licensing (training and support provided)
Assets
- Technician or pesticide applicator license
- Previous experience in vegetation management, landscaping, or environmental services
- Experience with spray equipment
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Hours may vary due to weather conditions such as rain, wind or extreme heat. Note, potential for extended hours during suitable conditions to make up for weather delays
