Employment Type: Full-time and/or Part-time position available

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience

We are currently seeking safe, professional, and customer-oriented Delivery Drivers to operate our large delivery trucks throughout Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. This role is ideal for experienced drivers who are comfortable handling bigger vehicles and delivering excellent service to our customers. Full G or DZ licence holders are strongly encouraged to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and navigate a large delivery truck to complete assigned routes and deliveries in a timely and efficient manner
• Load, secure, and unload fragile goods with care, ensuring items arrive undamaged
• Provide outstanding, friendly customer service at every delivery — greet customers, confirm orders, handle any required payments, and address concerns politely Use GPS/navigation tools and follow optimized routes while adhering to all road regulations
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, including timestamps, customer signatures, and notes on any issues
• Keep the truck clean, organized, and report any maintenance needs promptly
• Follow all company safety policies, traffic laws, and delivery procedures
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence (full G required) OR Class DZ driver's licence — both are welcome and encouraged to apply
• Clean driving abstract (no major infractions in the past 3–5 years)
• Proven excellent customer service skills — polite, patient, and effective communicator
• Comfortable driving and manoeuvring a large delivery truck in urban, rural, and highway settings
• Physically able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs (23 kg) repeatedly
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently
• Comfortable using smartphones/tablets for routing, order management, and communication
• Must pass a background check and provide a current driver’s abstract if requested Your own transportation to and from the main work site is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience driving large trucks (cube vans, box trucks, or similar)

• Familiarity with Ottawa and Eastern Ontario roads, including highways (e.g., 417, 416), rural routes, and local delivery zones
• DZ licence or experience with air brakes is an asset
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, occasionally evenings, but mainly day-time hours.
