Location: 1384 Allen Road, Mountain

Hours:  Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are looking for a skilled Sewer to join our team full-time.  We specialize in Marine Canvas Full Enclosures, Mooring Covers, Upholstery, Custom Designs and Repairs, Car Interiors, Shrink Wrapping, etc.  Maintaining quality standards and attention to detail is a must.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Experience with an industrial sewing machine (preferred but training available).  Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.  Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Perform other related duties depending on individual projects.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Experience with operating a sewing machine (industrial preferred); Experience in canvas work; Working with tools for assembly/reassembly of furniture; Pulling staples from existing upholstery; Taking apart furniture and reassembly; Using various hand tools.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES

Manual dexterity; Attention to detail; Hand-eye co-ordination; Ability to distinguish between colours; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Handling heavy loads
