We're Hiring: Social Media & Community Engagement Coordinator

Location: North Grenville (Remote/Hybrid)
Contract: Part-time, Contract (Flexible hours)
Start Date: ASAP

Compassionate North Grenville is looking for a creative and community-minded individual to help grow our online presence and bring our message of care, connection, and community to life.

We’re a grassroots movement rooted in empathy and mutual support—and we want to tell that story in a way that resonates, inspires, and builds momentum and an audience. 

What You'll Do:

• Develop and manage a consistent social media presence on Facebook and Instagram

• Create 2 engaging posts per week and 1 short-form video per week

• Design content that reflects our mission and engages the community

• Collaborate with our steering committee to plan and execute a monthly content calendar

• Help build an online community that reflects the warmth and compassion of North Grenville

• Work independently while staying aligned with community goals and direction
   

What You Bring:

• Strong creative writing skills with a passion for storytelling

• Experience in community activation, education, or non-profit outreach

• Proven ability to build and nurture an online audience

• Confidence using graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express)

• Experience producing short videos for social media

• Organized and self-directed, with the ability to meet timelines and communicate effectively
   

Hours & Compensation:

• Flexible contract position with approx. 2–5 hours/week
   

• Rate to be discussed based on experience
