Animal Care Attendant/Currator

This is a unique position for a unique person. We are home to several hundred animals everything from Primates, to Macropods, Felines, & Hoof stock.

The successful applicant will do it all from cleaning to construction repairs, feeding, watering, health care, enrichment, transferring, education talks & demonstrations.

• Must enjoy working with children and animals
• Must be comfortable sharing their knowledge with the public
• Zoology, Vet Tech, or Wildlife Biology are the preference but those with post secondary & animal care experience will be considered
• Ability to work days, evenings & weekends in all weather conditions is required 
• As the lead person reliability is essential
• Living in close proximity as well as Bilingualism are definite assets
• Successful applicant will need a valid rabies vaccine and CPIC.
• This is a year round permanent position so not suitable for students
• Pay will increase with experience
• Valid driver's license required as you will be responsible to drive golf carts
