Program Supervisor – Assisted Living Services (Winchester/Iroquois/Morrisburg Catchment)
Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000 annually
Status: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Hybrid (Williamsburg/Morrisburg/Winchester Office + Community)

MacIntosh Community Support Services (JWMACCSS) is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Program Supervisor to oversee our Assisted Living Services (ALS) programs in Winchester, Iroquois, and Morrisburg. This leadership role is part of a strategic restructuring aimed at streamlining care, strengthening community partnerships and aligning supports with regional health resources.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, Health Services, the Program Supervisor will manage daily operations, staff coordination, client assessments, and partnerships with community health providers to ensure high-quality, client-centered services. This position supports our mission to help seniors live independently and safely in their own homes. The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Assisted Living Services (ALS) programs in the
Winchester, Iroquois, and Morrisburg catchment areas. This role focuses on streamlining care delivery, fostering strong local partnerships, and supporting Personal Support Workers (PSWs). This position also provides backup support for the Kemptville ALS program on days when the part-time Kemptville Supervisor is not scheduled, limited to urgent calls and emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
 Supervise the day-to-day operations of ALS in the Winchester/Iroquois/Morrisburg areas.
 Provide backup coverage for the Kemptville ALS program on unscheduled days (calls and emergencies only).
 Manage client intake, assessments, and care planning.
 Manage client discharges and reassessments.
 Oversee PSW scheduling, supervision, and performance management.
 Build and maintain partnerships with local hospitals and Ontario Health.
 Ensure documentation, reporting, and data collection meet funder and regulatory requirements.
 Monitor and support quality improvement initiatives and standards.
 Participate in the on-call rotation for urgent matters related to ALS programs.
 Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for staff and clients.
Qualifications:
 Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing with the CNO
 Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in a community or health setting
 Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
 Experience with client assessments and service planning
 Knowledge of client-centered and aging-at-home models of care
 Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
 Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Working Conditions:
 This is a hybrid role requiring a combination of in-office presence, community site visits, and remote work.
 Must be available to travel within the Winchester-Morrisburg-Iroquois catchment area.
 Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for urgent matters, reassessments, or staff coverage
 Participation in the on-call rotation is required.
 Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
