JOB DESCRIPTION

ReStore Supervisor

Job purpose:

To assist the ReStore Management team in the overall operations of the ReStore, and to support the overall mission of Habitat for Humanity Thousand Islands.

Job Requirements:

Must submit a Level 2 – Criminal Records and Judicial Matters check prior to employment as per our corporate policy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

In coordination with the ReStore Management team, recruit volunteers to work in the ReStore, and process any applications

Working with the manager, schedule volunteers to ensure that all shifts in the ReStore are covered

Ensure all volunteers sign in and out for each shift entering this information on the volunteer spreadsheet

Supervise volunteers

Assist in Overseeing the display of product at the ReStore in an efficient, orderly, safe, customer friendly retail space.

Ensure compliance by volunteers of adopted ReStore policies and mandates

Working with the manager, assign tasks to volunteers and staff

Ensure that all customers are served in a courteous and timely way

Promote the mission of Habitat for Humanity through in-store advocacy

Any tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Experience in customer service

Ability to problem solve

Ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Excellent communication skills

Ability to engage volunteers and staff

Working conditions:

The store is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, so shifts may vary. Steel toed boots are a requirement.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.

Direct Reports:

Volunteers, Sales Associates and Receiving & Warehouse Associates.

Salary Range:

$19.55 per hour starting wage
