Job purpose:
Responsible for ensuring a positive donor experience, and maintain the organization of the warehouse inventory, and preparing donations for the sales floor.
Job Requirements:
Must submit a Level 2 – Criminal Records and Judicial Matters check prior to employment as per our corporate policy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure donations are received in a timely, courteous manner
Record donations and when required complete paperwork for receipt requests
Assist in the unloading of donations and ReStore trucks
Clean, test, price, and prepare donations for the sales floor
Move priced items on the sales floor
Organize, record, and maintain store inventory
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow health and safety practices
Assist customers with their purchases
Answer general customer questions
Promote the mission of Habitat for Humanity through in-store advocacy
Perform other duties as assigned
Assist on Truck as required
Qualifications:
No work experience needed
Positive, friendly attitude
Willingness to help
Good oral communication skills
Demonstrates problem-solving skills
Ability to follow written instructions
Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships
Working conditions:
The store is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, so shifts may vary. Steel toed boots are a requirement.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time, and lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
: Hourly Range: $17.75 to $18.69 depending on experience
