Our boutique engineering firm is hiring a full-time engineering technician!
The successful applicant must be proficient in the English language and be a competent and clear communicator.
Experience with geotechnical materials testing (compaction testing, concrete testing, soils investigation/evaluation) is required. AutoCAD drafting, total station/GNSS surveying, and an understanding of the civil engineering field is preferred.
The position requires the ability to drive to project sites across Eastern Ontario for geotechnical inspections and material testing and other engineering field work.
The position also includes in person office work, to be carried out at our office in Kemptville.
The successful candidate will have experience with geotechnical materials testing and be able to quickly adapt to our engineering firm’s methods/policies and hit the ground running.
The ability to work collaboratively in an open office environment, be self accountable, and to take initiative is considered an asset.
Salary starts at $30 to $35/hour (commensurate on experience).
Includes extended healthcare and Group RRSP/profit sharing.
