Animal Care Attendant/Currator

We are a small private Sanctuary. This is a unique position for a unique person. We are home to several hundred animals everything from Primates, to Macropods, Felines, & Hoof stock. The successful applicant will be involved in doing it all from cleaning to construction repairs. feeding, watering, health care, enrichment, transferring, education talks, shows & demonstrations. Need to be ok with the elements as you will be working on some sweltering hot days. Should be proficient in prioritizing as well as multi-tasking Must enjoy working with children, animals & sharing your knowledge with the public. Zoology, Vet Tech, or Wildlife Biology students/graduates are the preference but those with extensive animal care experience may be considered. Living in close proximity as well as Bilingualism are definite assets. As an Animal Care Attendant/Curator, you will be essential in ensuring the well-being of animals while providing educational experiences for visitors.. Successful applicant will require a CPIC as well as Rabies Vaccine.
