Animal Care Attendant/Currator

We are a small private Sanctuary. This is a unique position for a unique person.

As an Animal Care Attendant/Curator, you will be essential in ensuring the well-being of animals while providing educational experiences for visitors.

We are home to several hundred animals everything from Primates, to Macropods, Felines, & Hoof stock.

The successful applicant will do it all from cleaning to construction repairs. feeding, watering, health care, enrichment, transferring, education talks, & demonstrations.

Must enjoy working with children, animals & sharing their knowledge with the public. Zoology, Vet Tech, or Wildlife Biology graduates are the preference but those with post secondary & or extensive animal care experience will be considered.

Ability to work days, evenings & weekends.in the bitter cold or extreme heat is required.

Should be proficient in prioritizing as well as multi-tasking. As the only person doing this job reliability is essential.

Living in close proximity as well as Bilingualism are definite assets.

This is a year round permanent position.

Successful applicant will require a valid drivers license, CPIC as well as a valid Rabies Vaccine.
