Job Title: Full Cycle Bookkeeper
Location: Above the Bar Bookkeeping Ltd, Kemptville ON
Job Type: Full-time, On-site
About Us: Above the Bar Bookkeeping is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-cycle bookkeeper to join our team. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and providing top-notch financial services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain financial records
- Post Payables & Receivables
- Reconcile bank and credit card account
- Process payrolls for clients weekly
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Support the preparation of personal tax returns (knowledge of personal taxes is an asset)
- Answer phones and help clients coming into the office
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- College or university degree in bookkeeping or accounting
- QBO (QuickBooks Online) training certificate (required, but can be acquired before starting; training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary Range:
· $45,000 to $65,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
