ROLE: Inventory & Traceability Admin/Co-Ordinator

Member of:     Supply Chain Organization (SCO)

Reports to:      Stevie Pegg

Schedule:        Full Time (Days); 8 hour shift varies between 7am - 5pm; Temporary backfill    position for up to 1 year

The role of an Inventory and Traceability Administrator involves the tracking and documenting of trace data and inventory for HFI. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with various departments. Reporting to the Material Logistics Manager; here's a detailed description of the responsibilities and qualifications for this role:

Key Inventory Responsibilities* :

Inventory Management:  Oversee the accurate recording and monitoring of inventory levels, including raw materials, sub-assemblies, and finished goods.  Update inventory records based on the movement of products and materials across the site.  Support purchasing’s activities to maintain and reconcile inventory within Sage.

Traceability Systems: Maintain records of production batches for the purpose of providing material traceability through to the finished product.  Identify data gaps and potential errors reflected on the Travellers, and follow-up with individuals to resolve.

Quality Standards: Ensure all materials are sampled and QC’d in a timely manner so they are available for production.

Inventory Audits: Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical inventory counts with recorded inventory levels, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.  Participate in cycle counting and year-end inventory reconciliation activities.

Qualifications:

  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is essential for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring compliance with traceability requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are crucial for collaborating with cross-functional teams and conveying inventory-related information to purchasing and production.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to identify and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, process inefficiencies, or traceability gaps is essential for success in this role.
  • Adaptability: Inventory best practices at HFI can change rapidly, so the ability to adapt to new standards, division of responsibilities and data tolls is important.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills are necessary for managing multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing work effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working in Windows Excel is a must!!
  • Criminal background check and two Covid vaccinations are required
