Located in Iroquois, ON, Craig Packaging is one of Chicago-based Republic Packaging Corp.'s eight North American operating locations. As a 60-year-old provider of cushion packaging, Republic Packaging is known for outstanding design, quality, and customer service. Craig Packaging, which specializes in corrugated packaging, shares the same tremendous design, quality, and service capabilities as our parent company. In addition, we have a sister company, lmpacte, which provides warehouse management services that compliment our packaging products or suffice as a stand-alone service to provide solutions for our customer's problems.

With our eye toward growth, we are actively working to grow our sales by 50% over the next 3 years and enter new markets with innovative packaging and service offerings. We are seeking an experienced Press Operator to join our team.

Role responsibilities:

Perform operator-level functions for a corrugated press including setup, adjustment, operation and in-job maintenance.

Monitor the overall press function and performance.

Make and, where necessary, recommend adjustments to improve press efficiency.

Perform First Article and in-job part inspections, correcting and escalating issues where appropriate.

Engage with facility maintenance on equipment operation, troubleshooting and operator-level preventative maintenance.

Maintain order and a safe work environment within the press area.

Lift up to 25Kg and stand for extended periods of time.

What you bring:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Operator-level experience with manufacturing equipment.

Experience in the corrugated industry is a plus.

An understanding of and ability to interpret drawings and work instructions, applying that to the manufacturing process.

Ability to react quickly and make adjustments to ensure consistency and quality.

Team-player with excellent communication skills.
