Job Title: Digital Transformation Specialist
About Us:
We are a growing, certified B Corporation based in Cardinal, Ontario, specializing in the
import, export, marketing, and sale of the world's most delicious and healthy honey. Our
forest honey is harvested using regenerative practices by independent beekeepers who
protect African wilderness areas and National Parks in Zambia and Tanzania, capturing
hundreds of thousands of tonnes of carbon annually.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Digital Transformation Specialist to enhance our company's productivity
through the integration of digital tools. This role involves consulting with various teams and
implementing digital improvements across multiple processes, including E-Commerce
Workflow (Shopify with external platform integrations), Marketing and Sales Processes
(using a CRM integrated with e-commerce and accounting platforms), Production Process
Workflow, (using a productivity and project management platform), KPI analytics,
Digitization of Standard Operating Procedures with production, logistics, inventory,
environmental measurement, and Digital Document Management Systems.
Responsibilities:
● Collaborate with the production, logistics, accounting, marketing and management
teams to understand current processes and identify areas for digital improvement.
● Implement user-friendly digital tools to enhance productivity in production, batch
processing, inventory management, sales tracking, accounting, and administration.
● Lead and manage digital transformation projects from inception to completion,
ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
● Provide training and ongoing support to team members on new digital tools and
processes.
● Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of digital improvements and
provide regular reports to management.
Requirements:
● Education: Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Business
Administration, or a related field is preferred.
● Minimum of 2-3 years in digital transformation, IT integration, or a similar role.
Experience in the food business or sales is considered an asset.
● Proficiency in digital tools and software relevant to production, logistics, inventory,
sales, and accounting. Familiarity with ERP systems, Shopify, ClickUp, and Google
is a plus.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas for improvement and
measure the impact of digital solutions.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and
presentation.
● Proven experience in managing projects, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and
meet deadlines.
● Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
● This position can be remote, hybrid or in-person.
● Flexible Work Hours.
● 20 to 30 hrs / week. 12 to 16 weeks with possibility for renewal.
