Part Time - Superintendent/Custodian

We have an opening for a part time Superintendent/Custodian in our 24 unit condominium complex located at 6 Charlotte Place, Brockville Ontario. This will require 20 hours of work per week and some on call work.  The rate of pay is $20/hour and the corporation will provide insurance coverage and the candidate will be self-employed.  Start date May 1 2024.

A satisfactory reference check, criminal records clearance are required for the position.

Responsibilities:

·         Working closely with the Board of Directors & Property Management team

·         Cleaning/Maintenance (two lobby areas, laundry room – vacuum, mop, clean windows, machines)

·         Ensure cleanliness of common areas, corridors, stairways

·         Facilitate work orders and perform minor maintenance in plumbing & electrical

·         Address tenant concerns effectively and promptly

·         Maintain positive relations with tenants

·         Ensure resident safety and security at all times

·         Respond appropriately and professionally to emergencies

·         Maintain fire safety logs and winter logs General

·         Maintain accurate stock control records

·         Must be service-oriented, possess good communication skills, some computer skills, organized and be able to prioritize.

·         Other duties as assigned by Manager

·         Perform general maintenance requests

Must possess a cell phone and reliable vehicle to travel to location and pick up supplies as required.
