We have vacancies for General Utility. This involves working on our grading line depalletizing and palletizing finished products and keeping the line replenished with packaging supplies. 

Ideal candidates must have;

  • Minimum of grade 12 education.
  • The flexibility to work various shifts including weekends.
  • High work ethics.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • One year of experience in the food industry and/or manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Prior experience using a warehouse management system (SAP) as an asset.

Shipper Receiver

Job description

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipper/Receiver will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt of goods into the facility and the accurate and timely shipment of goods to our customers. The ideal candidate is a team player with a high attention to detail who thrives in a fast-paced and physically demanding role.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Successfully complete forklift/cart safety training.
  • Pick customer orders.
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of customer brands and requirements.
  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of computers and ability to learn our warehouse management system.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written. Able to accurately read order sheets and ensure completeness of paperwork and orders.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts. Straight Weekends and afternoons.
  • Duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Previous factory work or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to work within a team setting as well as independently
  • Previous experience in food processing with knowledge of HACCP and GMP’s would be considered an asset.

AZ Truck Driver

Job description

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 1 to 5 years of relevant driving experience (Straight truck 26’, 40-53’ 48/53 foot trailers) and High School graduate/GED equivalent
  • AZ driver’s licence with air endorsement and good driving record check (clean abstract)
  • Experience with driver logbook, bill of lading, trip report, accident or incident report, inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) and maintenance of temperature on reefers
  • City driving experience
  • Reliable, flexible (early morning work), team-player; sound judgement and professionalism in customer service
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and organization skills

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Picks up, delivers and unloads products utilizing equipment including a tractor-trailer, ramps, lift gates, power jacks, load bars and other devices which assist delivery
  • Repetitive tasks; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds; attention to detail; sitting; large workload
  • Overtime required.
