We are looking for a Kennel Assistant to work in our team environment where you will play a key role in providing essential administrative assistance and flexible scheduling. A successful candidate will have a background in working with animals, a passion for animal care, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well with our team. This person must have experience working with dogs and feel super confident around many dogs of all sizes and personalities. Pet First Aid is an asset. This position requires an individual with their own vehicle and driver's licence.
Responsibilities:
- Clean the dog kennels.
- Feed the dogs.
- Walk the dogs.
- Plan out exercise routines for dogs.
- Crate train new dogs.
- Be creative in terms of playtimes for dogs.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week at $19/hour
