Mostly weekends

Rate of pay $31.50/hour

Looking for a DSW or PSW worker with CPI training for our 13 year old special boy. Our son has both physical and developmental disabilities, Autism, and FASD. Experience with youth with developmental disabilities is desirable. He requires 1:1 supervision all the time. He loves computer games, swimming and YouTube. We are looking for someone who would engage him in activities, swim in the pool, play at the beach, hang out and supervise his choices on YouTube and games and just generally make his day more interesting. As relationship develops trips into the community will be considered most likely with additional support.

Our son can become aggressive and for this reason we are looking to hire workers with CPI or other restraint training; to be used only on rare occasions when absolutely needed. If the parents are not in the home 2 qualified workers will be working together for safety.

Worker needs certification of restraint training, a car and clean drivers license, to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and have criminal check, vulnerable sector check.

At the moment we require Saturday and Sundays from noon or 1:00 to 6:30 pm

Also some weekday afternoons, possibly 1 day per week.
