Experienced Overnight Dispatcher with DZ license

Shouldice Trucking is seeking a reliable and motivated OVERNIGHT DISPATCHER to work in our Prescott office. This person will be responsible for coordinating deliveries so that our customers’ needs are met.

This is a full-time position with an on-call component with the possibility of working some remote hours. Shifts are 6 pm - 6 am Wednesday - Saturday.    

Duties include but not limited to:

• Scheduling assignments and co-ordinating drivers, crews and equipment
• Answering incoming calls and communicating information to drivers and clients
• Keeping track of shipments and all documentation; troubleshooting document issues (invoices, BOL’s, customs)
• Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices
• Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations

Qualifications include:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
• Strong troubleshooting skills are a must
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in dispatch or transportation industry would be considered an asset
• AZ or DZ license would be considered an asset

Salary $50 - $75,000/year
