Lawn/Garden Maintenance Crew Member

Our company is growing again, and we are looking for a Lawn/Garden Maintenance Crew Member to join our team for seasons to come. Foreman position available.

K2D2 Landscaping, with a headquarters in Mountain, has been servicing residential and commercial clients with a complete range of landscape design, construction and maintenance services.

We are seeking a reliable, honest and hardworking Lawn/Garden Maintenance Crew Member to join our landscaping division. As a Lawn/Garden Maintenance Crew Member, you will be on a crew participating In landscaping and maintaining properties at a high quality level to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate various tools and equipment including: commercial lawn mowers, push mowers, whippersnippers, hedge trimmers, etc.
• Remove litter and garbage
• Lay sod, seed or apply fertilizers upon request
• Repair and maintain equipment
• Water, weed, and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens
• Plant bulbs, flowers, and shrubs
• Load and unload material off truck/trailer in a safe and responsible manner
• Follow safe work practices and directions of the foreman.
• Ensure project quality and productivity of the job site from start to completion
• Comply with all company and regulatory policies
• Propose and implement solutions in areas in need of improvement
• Ensure customer service standards are upheld in all interactions with current and prospective clients

Qualifications Required:

• No education required, however some secondary school education is an asset
• Experience in cutting and trimming grass as well as garden maintenance is an asset
• Experience in operating lawn mowers and other various small engines is an asset
• Experience driving loaded trailers
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good physical condition
• Strong communication and a sense of team work is required
• Ability to work under-pressure and use strong time management skills
• Personal transportation to the shop in Mountain is required

This is a seasonal FULL TIME position. There is a possibility for extension through the winter for snow removal if wanted. The position is Monday- Friday, with some weekend work required. Foreman positions available. 

• Benefits: After 3 month probation Period.
