CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN / TECHNOLOGIST

Job Description:

We are looking for an engineering technician / technologist to join our civil engineering team to perform the following duties;

• Gather site field data for project; including topographic surveying, hand measurements, digging test holes, and photographs,
• Presenting field data to engineers and project managers,
• Prepare design drawings using AutoCAD
• Preform construction inspections

Skills and Qualifications:

• Engineering Technician/Technologist diploma,
• Self motivated, independent and reliable worker,
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel,
• Must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills,
• Willing to work outside year-round;
• Valid Ontario driver's license with good driving record

Starting wage to be based on experience and will be reviewed following a 3 month probationary period.
