Sandy's Island BBQ is preparing to open this month for our second season in Kemptville at Georgia Carpet - 4048 County Rd 43.
If you have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen we need you to join our team! Hiring for multiple positions (2) line cooks and 2-3 food prep/cashiers.
We specialize in serving quality foods using Angus beef for our charcoal burgers and philly cheese steak sandwiches, wraps, and new this year serving up turbo pizza in seconds!
The successful candidates will be comfortable talking to the general public and working in a team. Cash handling and great customer service skills with a can-do attitude.
- Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
- Food Handler certification preferred
Starting wage $15.00/hour for food prep/cashiers
Starting wage $20/hour for Line Cooks
