Corrugated Press Operator

• Setting up machine to start production cycle
• Controlling and adjusting machine settings
• Feeding raw material to semi-automated machine
• Previous knowledge of operating press would be an asset

Job Description:

We are looking for a person for corrugated press operator to maintain and operate corrugated press. You’ll insure the interminable and efficient running of production. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to insure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency, quality and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Set up machine to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed, print quality, etc.)
• Feed raw material to semi-automated machines
• Inspect quality of product to meet order specifications
• Test operation of machine periodically
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws

Requirements

• Understanding of production procedures
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
• Ability to read order specifications
• Analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Physical stamina and strength
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
