Newgate 180 Addiction Solutions is a not-for-profit, charity. Newegate 180 is a residential treatment centre located in Merrickville, Ontario. There is no public transportation. We are looking for an Admin/Bookkeeper - temporary position with possibility of extension.

Location: 435 Main Street East, Merrickville, ON -

ADMINISTRATION:

  • Reception
  • Data Entry
  • Filing / Scanning / Copying
  • Knowledge of Outlook Office – Emails / Calendars
  • Assist other employees with paperwork
  • Supply Ordering and Management
  • Staff Scheduling
  • Business Meeting Minutes and other documents
  • Grant Research
  • Proficiency with programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Bookkeeping – 5 years’ experience

  • MUST have strong working knowledge of Sage Accounting
  • Payroll with Union Employees
  • All types of reconciliation: Source Deductions / Bank Reconciliations / GST/HST / Year End Summaries
  • Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable
  • Experience analyzing data
  • Budget and cost analysis experience
  • Proficiency with programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

THIS IS TEMPORARY POSITION with a min. of 30 hrs per week. Wage will be dependent on experience.
