Music Teacher

Do you play the piano and love working with children and families? Tempo Drive Music is looking for the right candidate to teach group music lessons in a home-studio setting. The position will be part-time and there is opportunity for growth.

To be considered for the job, you must have:

·         Level 8 Piano from an accredited conservatory or equal University training

·         All music theory co-requisites for above

·         Experience working with young children, ages 2-4 and 3-8 in particular

·         Have a clean criminal reference check

·         Blocks of time weekly for you to run your own classes

You must be able to and will be trained upon:

·         Attend training to teach specific curriculum

·         Execute lesson planning

·         Work with parents and children to ensure success in the program

·         Keep classes fun and enjoyable

·         Teach using a multi-sensory approach

·         Understand children’s development and behaviour

·          Attend and prepare students for two annual performances (And more if deemed appropriate)
