Engineering Technologist

The Municipality of North Grenville is accepting resumes from interested and qualified candidates for the position of a full-time Engineering Technologist.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Engineering Coordinator, carries out capital and maintenance design, inspection and tracking services.

Position Qualifications and Skills:

{C}·          Post-Secondary education in Engineering Technology required

{C}·         Minimum 3 years’ of experience required working with roads, bridges, municipal water and sewer systems

{C}·         Strong ability to complete engineering reviews of development proposals for subdivisions and site plans

Eligible for CET designation

Computer literacy in a Microsoft environment and demonstrated experience with database management, AutoCAD, GIS and other relevant software programs

Superior customer service and interpersonal skills, combined with excellent written and oral and communication skills

Exceptional organizational and time management skills and the ability to balance diverse, changing and conflicting priorities

Demonstrated ability to work independently

Strong team and leadership abilities

Valid and in good standing Class G drivers’ license

Salary for this position is $60,479 - $75,585 based on a 35 hour workweek.
