Champagne Custom Finishes Inc. is hiring a Lead Hand to join our team.
About the company:
A general construction company fulfilling projects anywhere within an hour of Kemptville. Both interior and exterior projects, at both the residential and commercial levels. This growing business is seeking responsible employees that want to grow with the company and become part of a team.
Position Available:
A lead hand that would be responsible for completing the task at hand with either one or two labourers to assist. This position would require you to fulfill the outlined project, and oversee that the work being done is of high quality. Some training may be required of the labourers assisting you. This is a full-time position (Monday- Friday, 40hrs per week)
Job Responsibilities:
- Travelling to and from our shop in Kemptville Ontario to then use a company vehicle for the day.
- Installation of kitchen and bathroom remodels, both cabinetry and tile-work.
- Installation of all flooring types.
- Installation of windows and doors.
- Installation of siding, decks, and fences.
- Fulfilling timesheets, and vehicle logs daily.
- Loading and unloading equipment.
- Power tool operation.
- Maintain a clean, safe and professional work area.
- Ability to complete all aspects of a project, while working unsupervised.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Valid Driver's Licence
Preferred:
- Working at Heights and WHMIS training
- 5 Year Minimum construction experience
- Salary will be based on experience.
