HR & Employee Engagement Associate

 Overview:

The Human Resources Associate provides time and attendance support, employee engagement, and recognition at G.T. Wholesale Limited (GTW) for both employees and temporary agency staff.  He/she will also work closely with the Manager of Human Resources to provide HR support to the GTW team.

Highlights:

• Manage GTW time and attendance system (Kronos/Workday) and related operating issues.
• Communicates with all employees through various HR initiatives and programs.
• Manage employee engagement activities and promotes a high level of employee morale and motivation, manage the events calendar for HR events, communication and making of posters.
• Manage employee Recognition.
• Managing performance management; from the progressive discipline-tracking and recommending level of discipline and follow up on delivery of discipline.
• Managing the Associate Development Review process and follow up. 
• Provides support to the Payroll and Benefits departments
• Assist with GTW recruitment process including all temporary and agency staffing.
• Ensure employee manuals, policies and procedures are kept updated.
• Projects as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Detail oriented, strong communication and grammatical skills
• Experience with Workday considered an asset
• Hold  a diploma or degree in Business Administration /HR
• Be able to work as part of a team, outgoing, and
• Excellent MS Office skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new software programs
• 2-3 Years minimum experience in HR/Employee Engagement

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday,    7:30 am to 4:30 pm

Wednesday, Friday,   6 am to 3 pm.  

Flexibility required to work outside of regular hours / early start  days are flexible
