Part-Time Superintendent

Condominium Corporation in Kemptville is seeking a 1-year contract, part-time, Superintendent.

 We are seeking a part-time building superintendent to assist with the operation of a condominium corporation in Kemptville. Regular hours are 15 hours/week and occasional on-call hours. Position may lead to full-time hours.

 Maintenance in the three small buildings include vacuuming hallways, mopping floors, cleaning of windows and other surfaces, tending to garbage, and simple repairs (drywall patching, touch up paint, etc).

You should possess good communication skills to attend to residents’ concerns, advise and direct contractors on site, and to report further maintenance work required to management.

 Requirements

• Problem-solving ability and able to calmly deal with emergencies;
• Organized and able to prioritize workload
• Work well without direct supervision
•  Have some understanding of building maintenance systems (elevators, HVAC, MUAs)
• Knowledge of Condominium Act would be an asset

Qualifications

• High-school diploma
• Clear police record check
• Able to lift 20kg
• Basic Computer skills
• G license and access to a reliable vehicle to travel to location and to pick up supplies when required.

 Position to start at the beginning of June.

Job Type: Part time, 1-year Contract

Salary: $18.00 /- $20.00 based on experience
