An exciting career opportunity, with great earning potential, is now open with the CareerLabsVR. We are seeking a professional, highly skilled and experienced Sales Representative, who is technologically savvy, possesses an entrepreneurial mindset and has a focus on innovation while placing a high value on cultivating the customer relationship. It is essential that this person understand the fluidity of business with regards to the demands of a start-up company and who can effortlessly balance the needs of current customers with the drive to produce great sales results.

Purpose: To grow the purchase and use of the proprietary virtual reality platform called CareerLabsVR, through external sales across Canada with potential for International sales. This virtual reality program is a ground breaking educational and technological tool that has applications across many sectors and is being continuously developed to service an ever growing product line and demand.  The Sales Representative is an integral part of the CareerLabsVR Team, one who will embrace the values of our business and bring an enthusiasm for this product along with solid sales skills to service current customers, develop new customers, and identify emerging markets.  

 Principal Duties and Responsibilities

External Sales

  • Maintain and service the existing customer base
  • Explore and develop new leads across Canada with potential for International
  • Meet sales targets
  • Liaise with many different sectors including but not limited to Government and Industry
  • Participate in Trade Shows
  • Perform presentations, participate in video & conference calls
  • Assist with proposal development as needed
  • Generate regular sales reports for management
  • Collaborate with Team members to improve marketing material
  • Continuously improve knowledge base, skills, and expertise in the area of virtual reality
  • Monitor industry trends to identify potential opportunities for Agency growth
  • Maintain current drivers’ licence and insurability.

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Education in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship or other relevant stream and/or a combination of education and experience sufficient to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position
  • A current police record and vulnerable sector check
  • Inclusive mindset with equal respect for all and ability to interact in a tactful, supportive and professional manner
  • Confident, results driven, relationship builder with an outgoing and engaging personality
  • Proven experience in Outside Sales with demonstrated ability to “close” the deal
  • Strong, articulate communication skills: electronic, written, and verbal. French language is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic understanding of Organizational and Governmental Approval Process
  • Comfortable presenting information to different sized groups of people using different formats
  • Able to travel for up to 50% of the time or as needed
  • Valid Canadian Passport and able to cross the U.S. Border
  • Technologically savvy
