Cultivation Technician

Cannabis Flower Processing - Cultivation Technician 

Full Time - Hourly 

This position reports to the Master Grower and works under daily supervision by the Sr. Cultivation Technician 

Duties: 

• Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures for the Good Production Practices (GPP) operations at all times 
• Train staff on standard operating procedures for the Good Production Practices (GPP) and ensure all staff follow the SOPs at all times 
• Perform cultivation and production tasks including but not limited to irrigation/fertigation, cloning, transplanting, topping, defoliation, flushing, trimming, packaging, waste disposal and inventory management 
• Operate irrigation system platforms (Dosatron) 
• Support the development and/or maintain plant production protocols and nutrient regiment 
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain compliance with Health Canada and other regulatory bodies regulations 
• Support onsite equipment troubleshooting (HVAC, irrigation, water treatment) 
• Ensure that all sanitation tasks are completed as per the SOPs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment 
• Voice concerns or reports about security 
• Work with appropriate team members to continuously develop and improve maintenance safety standards and procedures 
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required, troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution 
• Assist with construction project management
• Schedule, assign and perform duties in carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC etc. 
• Ensure preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repairs are conducted in a manner that does not present hazards to product and are documented 
• Maintain optimal equipment uptime 
• Ensure that security measures are maintained, and report product loss promptly 
• Assist with inspections and ensure records are available for expedient review 

Qualifications: 

• High School certificate
