Family operated dairy farm in Osgoode, Ontario looking for a full-time dairy herdsperson. We pride ourselves in providing an excellent training program. This is an excellent opportunity for someone that wants to learn how to operate a successful dairy operation.
Duties: All aspects of operating a dairy farm (calving, feeding animals, milking cows, caring for and identifying sick animals, general barn and equipment maintenance)
Education: Post secondary education a requirement for this position
Skills / Abilities: Able to work unsupervised; Able to supervise 1-2 employees; Ability to self manage and solve problems as they arise; Ensure all safety and biosecurity rules are followed
