Schedule: 40 hours/week, plus overtime during planting and harvest periods

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Location: Inkerman, ON - close to Winchester, ON
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment such as tractors, planters, combines, forklift, and sprayer
- Maintain, repair, and implement minor modifications on research and field size agricultural equipment
- Prepare research trials for planting
- Assist in research plot field preparation
- Float equipment to planting, spray, and harvest trials at off-site locations
- Conduct field maintenance
- Clean and bulk soybean seed
- Maintain facilities including office, warehouse, machine sheds, and greenhouse
- Harvest individual plants and thresh using a threshing machine
- Follow the Research Tech Protocol Manual and adhere to workplace safety policies
Qualifications:
- Mechanical experience

- Can-do attitude
- Attention to detail
- Work well in a team and individually
- Able and willing to work long, arduous hours
- Experience in agriculture is an asset
