Warehouse Associate

Job Description:

Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking for Warehouse Associates in our facility in Johnstown, ON. The successful candidates will be a self-motivated individual who thrives in a physical role and enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the main positional responsibilities will be unloading containers, stacking and staging product and material mainly by physical means.

Giant Tiger can offer a permanent position, with full-time hours, medical/dental/vision benefits at 3 months, and career growth opportunities! Part-time hours are also available for anyone looking for supplemental hours on top of schooling or another job!

Warehouse Associate Job Highlights:

• Unload containers by hand;
• Continuously lift boxes with a weight range of 1 - 50 pounds;
• Ensure pallets are built sturdy and are secured with tape or shrink wrap;
• Report any quantity variances and any damages to the Shift Supervisor;
• Various warehouse duties, as prescribed by the supervisor.

Warehouse Associate Job Requirements:

• Self-motivated; ability to work without direct supervision; 
• Must be able to lift heavy items for extended periods of time;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
